LandFlow ("LandFlow," "we," "us," or "our") provides a real estate data and land intelligence platform that combines parcel records, ownership information, public records, planning applications, and geospatial data (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
This policy applies to our web application, our iOS mobile application, and any related services that link to it.
The core of the Service is data about land parcels, property ownership, business entities, and related public records. This information is sourced from county assessor and recorder offices, other government sources, and licensed third-party data providers — it is not collected directly from the individuals or businesses it describes.
For some parcels and entities, the Service may display contact details (such as phone numbers or email addresses) sourced from licensed third-party data providers, to help our customers (property investors, agents, and developers) identify how to reach a property owner. If you are an individual whose information appears in the Service in this way and you are not a LandFlow customer, see "Your Choices" below for how to contact us about that data.
Mailing addresses shown in the Service are derived from county assessor records, licensed parcel data, and related data feeds. We do not source our mailing addresses by public record request.
We do not sell your personal information. We share information with:
We retain account information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. We retain public record and licensed data for as long as it remains relevant to the Service, consistent with our agreements with data providers. We may retain certain information longer where required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as dispute resolution.
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information we handle. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
LandFlow account holders can access, update, or delete much of their account information directly within the Service, or by contacting us at contact@landflow.io.
Individuals whose information appears in the Service (for example, as a property owner shown in parcel or ownership records) but who are not LandFlow customers may contact us at the address above with questions about that data, including requests to correct or, where applicable under law, remove contact information sourced from third-party data providers. We will respond consistent with applicable law.
California residents have additional rights described in Section 9. Residents of other states may also have rights under applicable law. Contact us to exercise those rights.
The Service is intended for business and professional use and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (together, the "CCPA"), provides additional rights regarding personal information. This section describes those rights and how we handle personal information of California residents.
In the last 12 months we have collected, or may collect, the categories of personal information described in Section 2, including identifiers (such as name, email, and account credentials); commercial information (such as subscription and billing records); internet or electronic activity (such as usage, device, and log data); professional or employment-related information you provide (such as organization); and, for some parcels and entities shown in the Service, information from government records and licensed data providers (such as ownership and contact fields). We collect this information from you, from your devices, from our service providers, and from government and licensed data sources. We use it for the purposes in Section 3.
Publicly available information from government records is generally not "personal information" under the CCPA. Contact details sourced from licensed third-party providers are described in Section 2 and in "Your Choices" above.
We disclose personal information to service providers and other parties as described in Section 4, for business purposes such as hosting, payment processing, analytics, authentication, communications, and providing the Service. We do not sell the personal information of LandFlow account holders, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined in the CCPA.
Subject to exceptions in the CCPA, California residents may request to:
To make a request, email contact@landflow.io with "California Privacy Request" in the subject line. We will verify your identity before completing the request and respond within the time the CCPA requires (generally 45 days, or longer if reasonably necessary and we notify you). You may use an authorized agent; we may require proof of authorization and may still need to verify your identity. You may appeal a decision by replying to our response.
If you are not a LandFlow customer but your information appears in the Service (for example, as a property owner), see "Your Choices" above. We will handle those requests consistent with applicable law, our contracts with data providers, and the public-record nature of much of that data.
Our websites and the Service may contain links to third-party websites, products, or services. If you follow a link and leave our site, we are not responsible for that third party's content, security, or privacy practices. You may be subject to that third party's privacy policy and terms. A link is not an endorsement of the third party.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
Questions about this Privacy Policy or our data practices can be sent to contact@landflow.io.
